A Full Service Jeweler
Elmquist Jewelers is a full service jeweler. We service and repair most jewelry and watches.
Most of our work is done in-house with state-of-the-art equipment by highly skilled and
experienced goldsmiths.
In addition to repairs, we pride ourselves in our customer service, ensuing that you find exactly what you are looking for and that you are educated about your investment.
Age typically does not matter when it comes to repairing jewelry. If you have a piece that
might be quite old, chances are we can repair it. Some jewelry on the market is of a quality
that cannot be easily repaired, but the quality of jewelry that we sell ensures that it can be
repaired.
Using a Laser Welder
State-of-the-art equipment is used for all repairs and custom work. One particular piece of
equipment worth noting is our Laser Welder, which allows us to repair or modify jewelry
without using heat. This is especially beneficial when we are working in heat sensitive
gemstones set in jewelry. We can also repair eyeglasses.
Digital Goldsmith Custom Design
Using our Digital Goldsmith custom design software, we can
design and create many a piece of jewelry uniquely your own.
The great thing about the Digital Goldsmith software is that
you can see your item before we create it. For example, you can
choose a diamond or a gemstone and a ring mounting and we’ll
combine the two into one beautiful piece of jewelry.
We can also redesign a piece of existing jewelry for a new look.

a look to compliment your existing engagement ring or wedding set.
Ring Mounts
If you have a stone that needs to be mounted in a ring we can do it. We use the best techniques to
make sure that the mounts are secure, ensuring you won’t lose your valuable stone. We can also
re-mount a stone that is in a current ring into new ring. This is useful if an existing ring is worn out.
Gold Nuggets from Jewelry
We can melt down jewelry into uniquely shaped gold nuggets that can be stored, worn as a necklace,
pin or even earrings. This is always a nice option to recycle and reform sentimental pieces into a
whole new look.
Watch & Clock Repair
We can service most brands of watches. In addition we can replace watch batteries. We can repair most clocks, parts availability permitting. Sometimes older and antique clocks parts are simply not available for replacement. If a part can be found, we can fix it. This includes: movements, crystals, crowns and stems.
Engraving
We offer and engraving service at an additional cost for items purchased within our store. We will also engrave the inside of a ring purchased in our store at no charge.
Diamond Performance Grading
We use the Isee2 technology system to explain and help our customers see for themselves the quality of diamonds. Isee2 measures brilliance, scintillation and symmetry. This is a very beneficial system because it allows you to be educated about the quality of your investment.
Appraisals & Gemological Services
Elmquist is pleased to have three Gemological Institute of America trained Graduate Gemologists on our staff and a certified appraiser. A Graduate Gemologist is trained in grading both diamonds and gemstones, as well as identifying colored stones of unknown origin. This enables us to offer our customers appraisal for merchandise purchased in our store at no cost. There is a fee for appraisals on all other merchandise not purchased at Elmquist.
Insurance Replacement
We offer an insurance replacement service for lost, damaged or stolen jewelry items. We will
work with you and your insurance company to replace your items in a timely manner.
Buying Scrap Metal
Due to the rise in precious metals prices we are buying gold, silver, palladium and platinum. Prices
vary daily with the precious metals market. Sellers need to be 18 years or age or older and show a
valid driver’s license or identification card. You can also trade-in your precious metal for store credit
and receive 25% more value.
Elmquist Lay-By Policy
1. We would like at least a 30% down payment on all items put onto lay-by.
2. You may make payments in the form of cash, check or credit card.
3. You will not be mailed a statement, but we do request that you make consistent monthly
payments (there is no set dollar amount to be paid monthly).
4. You may mail your payment if you wish, please note that you are making a payment on a lay-by
account when doing so.
5. All items should be paid in full within 12 months of putting onto a lay-by account.
6. If you wish to take an item off of lay-by or fail to make consistent payments you will be charged
a 15% re-stocking fee that will be deducted from your payments made and you will receive store
credits for the remainder of your payments.
Elmquist Trade-In Policy
Dreaming of a larger diamond? Bring it in to Elmquist and have it
evaluated for retail value to trade-up towards a larger or better
quality diamond. Once you have received your trade-in value we ask
that you spend 30% more than that value. Trade-in is at our discretion
and colored stones (non-diamonds) do not apply.
Bridal Registry Policy
We encourage all of our bridal registrants to give us a guest list for
their wedding and we will mail a tasteful “Registry Notice” letting
them know that you are registered at Elmquist. If you have out-of-town
guests, our gift wrap and local delivery will be very helpful for them.
We welcome orders made over the phone!
We offer a large selection of china, flatware and stemware selections from Lenox, Noritake, Dansk,
Wedgewood, Waterford, Marquis, Gorham, Yamazaki and Reed & Barton. There is an everyday savings
of 30% off on place setting pieces and 20% off on serving pieces.
If you choose to have your items in stock prior to your wedding you will be obligated to purchase any
remaining items that were not sold for you wedding.
You will receive a free gift just for registering at Elmquist.
We offer free in-town delivery or we will keep the gifts in the store for you to pick-up when it is
not possible to deliver. All items are gift wrapped free of charge. We offer professional, personal
customer service and would be pleased to assist you in all of your registry choices.
